About Fuuko

(Adopted July 2016 - present)

If one could be compared to the Lion King, this Chinchilla Persian cat is nothing short of majestic. Do you dare tread his kingdom?

The name is Fuuko, it means.. nothing in particular, probably does, I just don't know. It was a name I mostly randomly thought of aside from the fact it also ends in "ko", but I liked it, and we like Fuuko, that's all what matters. (It also happens to sound the same as the name of a certain dreamy character from a certain tear-jerking anime)

At last, a cat that actually sounds and acts like one. If it moves, no, if it exists, Fuuko will put it in his mouth, incurring diarrhea shortly after. As such, it is best not to put dangerous objects or foods out in the open, for while Fuuko generally respects boundaries that are visibile, if there is no apparent owner it can only belong to the one and only king of this region.

Fuuko is currently living a life of bliss and treats. Aside from a couple life-or-death experiences from when he was little such as falling down the stairs, running his head into the side of the hardest door in the house, getting cut in his cheek by scissors, getting stung by a bee or wasp, falling into the garden pond, getting squashed underneath a couch mechanism, you get the idea; Fuuko learns through experience and generally does not re-engage in behavior he has deemed to be actively harmful. In spite of these incidents, Fuuko enjoys the highest level of comfort and security I have observed in my cats, as well as having inherited genes that seem to favor both health and beauty.
